The
Compli-mate series connector was designed for the end user. The
multi-spring member compliant section provides a gas tight connection
to a plated thru hole, with consistent insertion and withdrawal
forces.
Pre-assembled connectors are inserted into the mother board and
terminated using a simple flat plate. A.W. Industries is a licensed
user of the connector design technology that permits the use of
flat rock tooling for the installation of compliant pin card edge
connectors.
Unique contact and housing design features assure "crush-proof"
mating, even with warped or marginally chamfered daughter boards.
